Orlando Magic vs Miami Heat - The All-Star center has escaped the trading tragedy and will remain with Orlando through next season. He will try to lead his team again to another victory against Miami to end their long home win streak on Sunday night.
Dwight Howard had a great performance in last week's matchup, claiming a season high 25 rebounds with 24 points in a 104-98 overtime home win over the Heat last Tuesday. Dwight have made a big commitment, he would stay with the Magic until his contract ends in 2013.
The next day after the game in Miami, he made a team-best 18 points on 8 of 10 shooting in a quick 86-70 win against New Jersey Nets. Glen Davis said Howard did a really good job, he did what is best for him and his team. The Magic had success in recent games but they haven't won the series since 2008-2009 season.
The Heat has a four-game lead over the Magic in the division. They avoided going winless by holding off Atlantic Division top team Philadelphia 76ers 84-78 on Friday. Miami is going off a 1-2 road trip over the other three leading teams in the Eastern Conference. Dwyane Wade scored his fewest in two months 12 points, shooting 6 for 16 but got a season-high 11 boards with 6 assists.
