UFC 131: Dos Santos vs Carwin Results - Once again, we will witness another Heavyweight showdown. The upcoming mixed martial arts event UFC 131 headlined between Junior dos Santos vs Shane Carwin, will be held on Saturday night June 11, 2011 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver British Columbia.
Brock Lesnar was originally slated to face dos Santos after their coaching task on The Ultimate Fight 13, but the bout was forced to pull out due to a reoccuring illness and was later replaced by Carwin. Court McGee was expected to face Jesse Bongfeldt, but was withdrew due to a torn MCL.
