Chicago Bulls vs Orlando Magic - Failing in Miami on Sunday could push the Magic to dominate the Bulls tonight in their hometown. Orlando has only got one win in the recent three games, falling behind at Miami 91-81 as Dwight Howard allowed 18 points with 11 rebounds.
Orlando managed a season-best for points in an 86-70 victory against New Jersey Nets last Friday. They've allowed the Miami to shoot 45.9 percent, dropping as many as 13 points. Howard made 29 points and 18 rebounds when Magic gave the Bulls a one such defeat and ended its eight-game winning streak 99-94 on March 8. Derrick Rose scored 17 points and shot only 6 for 22 in that meeting.
The reigning NBA MVP is sidelined on its two-game road trip, starting on Monday night in Orlando. Coach Tom Thibodeau said they were not sure if their star guard would make a visit in Orlando and in Toronto in the following day. The Bulls are in the same mentality whether they have him or not in the lineup.
Chicago defeated the Miami Heat on Wednesday but loss to Portland Trail Blazers on Friday without Rose. They own the league's best record and have been improved to 9-4 with Rose out this season. Bulls got 89-80 victory over Philadelphia 76ers last Saturday.
